Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a vast chronicle of turbulent times woven from loyalty between lord and minister, brotherhood, and political intrigue. This section attempts to 'datafy' it: presenting, through an interactive network, the sworn bonds, alliances and hostilities among Shu Han, Cao Wei, Eastern Wu and the various warlords, and reinterpreting the personality results you obtained in Learning Traits Exploration as 'which figure from the Three Kingdoms you are most like'. It turns a classical text into a digital experience that can be explored, discussed and reflected in relation to yourself.
A TV special-style camera flythrough procedurally reconstructs the map of the Three Kingdoms: following the 120-chapter timeline scene by scene, it passes the Oath of the Peach Garden, Lu Bu's Three Heroes Battle at Hulao Pass, the fire attack at Red Cliffs, and the falling stars at Wuzhang Plain, to the division of the realm into three and then unification under Jin; the light and shadow shift with the rival warlords vying for supremacy, the tripartite balance, the falling stars over Jing and Yi, and the return to unity. You can also switch to free view and look down on Luoyang, Xuchang, Chengdu, Jianye and the waters of Red Cliffs yourself.
