Yodo Campus Ambassador

Campus ambassadors are Uedu's peer guides—as fellow students, they help people around them get started with AI-assisted learning tools and become independent learners who learn with AI. They are not marketers and have no promotion targets; what you share is your own real learning experience.

What does an ambassador do

At the start of the term, hold 1 to 2 introductory workshops (60 to 90 minutes) in your own department or club. Presentation templates and example scenarios are provided by the platform, so you do not need to create your own materials.

Echo

Bring local needs back to the platform

A monthly in-site survey to report the problems your school's peers most often encounter and the features they most want; you will also have priority access to early testing of new features.

Co-creation

Publish your teaching assets

On UeduHub, publish channel templates, Worksheets or skills, or write short usage case articles, and have them attributed and published on the platform.

Honest statement: campus ambassadors are unpaid roles in a learning community, with no salary or bonus. Uedu is a free public education platform; we return your contribution through verifiable certificates, public attribution and genuine community standing, rather than money — which is also why we hope to find "people who want to do things" rather than "people who want a job".

Eligibility and time commitment

Around 10 to 15 hours per semester — deliberately designed to be light, with studies always taking priority.

Enrolled students at tertiary institutions (bachelor's, master's and doctoral students are all eligible).
School email verification completed in Uedu (can be linked in personal settings).
Have used Uedu for at least one semester and have their own reflections on its use.
One to three per school per cohort, with a one-semester appointment that may be renewed after a two-way review at the end of the term.

How to apply

Entirely online; no CV or portfolio preparation required.

Complete the application form—five questions, centred on a 300-word statement about “what I want to help classmates solve”.

Written review — we assess genuine usage experience and motivation, not writing style.

15-minute online conversation—not an interview, but a check that mutual expectations are aligned and that the boundaries of the role are made clear.

Appointment — receive a digital appointment certificate, join the ambassador channel, and begin the task you have chosen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Need a programming background?

No. Uedu is designed so that students without an IT background can use it easily; ambassadors from humanities, business, and social science backgrounds are actually better placed to demonstrate how 'ordinary students' use it.

Will it take a lot of time?

Around 10 to 15 hours per semester, roughly the equivalent of one workshop plus one survey each month. Task categories are optional, and there are no fixed obligations during mid-term exam week.

Can I leave part-way through?

Yes, you can withdraw at any time, with no concept of breach of agreement. We want this role to remain something you choose to do, not a burden.

Can ambassadors access other students' data?

No. An ambassador's account permissions are exactly the same as those of an ordinary Student, with no data privileges; when helping classmates, they also do not operate accounts on their behalf or handle passwords.

How can we verify that someone really is a campus ambassador?

Each ambassador holds a digitally verifiable appointment certificate (including term of appointment), and the official website also publishes the list of ambassadors for the current academic year; both can be verified.
